Swearing post

OK, i dedicate this post to my dear Sin May...

Fuck KTM services...
Whoever that is responsible for the maintenance & upgrading of the train company...
Whoever that is suppose to provide fund n resources to improve our sucky public transport...
Who cares about people like us?
They got driver to drive them to work, they don't need to squeeze in the train,
they got more important things to worry about than trying to improve ppl's live.
Who cares?

Fuck the company who sold Sin May her laptop...
What sucky after sales service are u providing to your customers?
U sell the laptop then pat your butt n chiao...
Comp got prob, u'll ask the girl to go alone to Shah Alam to find the manufacturer herself
U suck! with that kind of service your company will go bankrupt soon!
Fuck you and your lousy sucky businessman attitude!

Lol.. unhappy things happen all the time,
it's good to find a way to release stress..
Dear, does this reduce your stress even for a wee bit?
:) cheer dear...

Happy Birthday to my dearest one....

Happy birthday to u my dear!
lol I know the cake doesn't look nice, but hey it's Simpsons! It's 23! (spider pig, spider pig...)

Hugs and kisses for you... Muakz!
I'm sorry that i am not there for u on your birthday, (and everyday for one whole year)
No one to eat the whole cake together with you using a table spoon ..
No one to cook u a meal or belanja u a nice meal (mayb got lar)
But hey, don worry, present will still b there...
Although it will reach u later, n u might not even like it,
but i swear i tried my best to find 1 tht i think u might hv some possibility of accepting it...
(shopping is killing me!)
So, of course i really hope u will like it and will use it :)

It's a good thing that we r still together after almost 3 years,
n that i still love you very much,
n i still feel happy to be with you,
happy by juz listening to your voice :)
Long distance is never easy,
1 year seem to be short, but at this age,
there r alot of uncertainties (starting a career, plans 4 the future, etc) and also distractions (better guys/gals around, money factors, loneliness) from the surroundings, some slight changes might affect everything...
I'm glad that after 5 months, everything seem pretty normal to me,
so well done to both of us, for the commitment we hv shown to our relationship.
(tee hee!)

Last but not least, i hope u hv an enjoyable day with your friends,
n i hope some ppl will belanja u makan,
n perhaps oso sing k or a movie! haha...
muakz! with lots of love and passion,
Many kisses to the birthday girl :)

Once again Happy Birthday my dear,
wish u healthy & pretty always,
n all well in the year ahead of you...

Random

Midnite tends to make me abit more emotional...
Listening to Janice Vidal's "In Love Again".
Always love her songs...

Had a crazy belated Halloween nite...
Well, mayb not tht crazy, but drank some alcohol n played some crazy games n stuff...
Had some fun, n din't get myself drunk which is a good thing...
Lol, future pharmacists & doctors, + 1 architect, binging alcohol, we studied about bad things about alcohol binging, n here we r, doin all the bad things.. haha how ironic...

A little bit of alcohol makes ppl more relax n more willingly to open up...
but excessive alcohol? i don like it...
i juz hope the game ends n every body can get to bed, n ppl staying far can go bck sooner.
sighs.. it's 0442 d still i don feel like sleeping
is it bcoz of the redbull? or redthunder watever...

bla bla bla
glasgow is freakin cold..
exam is coming soon..
hvnt touch the intro of my report..
still thinkin of a present for gf's coming bd...
still think msia's politics sucks, n it's getting suckier...
ahh... wat is wrong wif those ppl? wat were they thinking about?
muz it always b mind games, retarded statements, n dirty tactics?
muz it always b chinese, malay, indian? can't it b malaysian?
where the hell is 1 malaysia? wat r u doin mr. najib?
it's a shame, tht a blessed piece of land is ruined by some idiots...

n y does the stupid politics mind games n tactics hv to b everywhere?
even in our daily life?
office, school, neighbours, friends...
fuck this shit! perhaps this is human nature?
then fuck this bloody human nature!
feel so sick about all the stupid bloody things
competition is vital for survival & evolution,
but it doesn't always hv to b ugly u noe...
feel like slapping some ppl n yell 'get a life! stop doin nonsense n make urself useful!'
war is not cool, neither it is heroic,
well i mean any war, in any 'battlefield'
stop fighting, make peace,
n stop being selfish n greedy, spare those innocent ppl ok?
fuckin ok??

here i am, mumbling to myself,
who cares a shit about wat i said?
this juz ain't a fair world isn't it?
it's never gonna be fair....

Stockholm - My First European Trip

Sweden is the first European country i'd visited since i came to UK 3 months ago..
This marks the starting point of my Euro trip.

Well to be precise, i went to Stockholm only, n no other parts of Sweden.
This trip was not even in the plan 1 month ago when ppl r bz planning for the France trip.

Giri & his friend Seelan came up wif this plan with some simple reasons:
(1) Seelan is a medical doctor in London n he wanna take a break n go for a trip
(2) Stockholm is 1 of the destination tht Ryanair flies to from Glasgow's Prestwick Airport
(3) The ticket's price is reasonable, timing is good, so let's go to Stockholm!

I hv to admit, when i agreed to join this trip, i din't know what to expect from Stockholm.
Then i asked Su, who had studied in Stockholm for a few months, n did some googling.
Answers i got was: Beautiful sceneries, and a lot of museums.

Ok, let me show u how it goes...
Our flight was delayed for 1 hr n we were kinda scared tht we can't reach Stockholm in time to take the bus which will bring us to the city. We reached Skavsta airport around 1o something n by the time we reached the bus station in Stockholm, it was almost midnight. We took a cab which cost us 120 kronor n the driver doesn't speak English... Giri: Is tht the Royal Palace? Driver: Errr....King house.. Ok, at least we know we r goin the right direction.

Hostel was quite nice, kitchen with complete equipments, plenty of clean washrooms, free internet, nice receptionists... Cool.

The next morning while waiting for Seelan to join us, we prepared pasta for lunch. Pasta were provided by the hostel, Free! But only pasta, not the sauce n any other materials.

After Seelan had arrived, we went out to explore this Scandinavian capital city. Stockholm is the capital of Sweden, and it is made up of 14 islands. We stayed in Gamla Stan, the Old Town of Stockholm which is a tiny island between the city areas. We walked north to the city center exploring, n planning our journey for the following days.
V booked a bike tour for the next morning, n bought a Stockholm card tht would allow us to gain free access to most attractions & free transportation.

The next morning, we picked up a bike at the shop n follow our tour guide around the city, we cycled along the coastline, to the parliament buildings, prime minister's office, Nordic museum, Royal Garden..... It was nice to cycle around the city safely, n it's fun to cycle after not cycling for so long, but my butt felt terribly sore after tht tour..
The city is very cyclist friendly, the people here cycle a lot, and they even hv special lanes & traffic lights for cyclists. So i feel quite secured cycling around the city.
We spent the remaining day chilling & walking around the city again, coz our initial plan to meet up with Giri's friend din't work out.

The 3rd day is a bz day. We hv a tight schedule as we planned to optimise the use of our Stockholm card by visiting as many interesting places as possible in tht day itself.

We started with the Royal Palace, which is the nearest attraction to our hostel. Well yesteday our tour guide told us that the current ruler of Sweden is not a descendant of the Vikings, he is actually the decendant of one of Napolean's General... Two hundred years ago, the Swedish royal family was without a heir so they asked a Dutch prince to claim the throne but the tragically he fell frm the horse n died on his way. The Swedish royal family then turned to Napolean's Generals n this guy accepted the offer n he was crowned the King of Sweden. Mm, well it's not a dream to become a king isn't it?
The Royal Palace doesn't look nice from outside... It is basically a symmetrical squarish building, nothing spectacular for a Royal Palace, although the royal family were not living here anymore. The original Royal Palace looked better n more like a proper castle, but it was burnt down in the 17th century, n the current Royal Palace was built on the same site.
Our next stop is the City Hall, the local administrative center and the venue of the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony. We were led by a sweet Swedish tour guide, bringing us from hall to hall, explaining the history and stories of each halls.
The Nobel Prize winner will pass through this entrance of honour to the banquetting halls. The Golden Hall, as told by its name, is covered with gold mosaics, and this hall serves as the dance floor when the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony takes place. After a tour in the City Hall, we 'climbed' up to the top of the city hall tower
Next, we went to the Army Museum. Ntg worth mentioning here. Then next the Historical Museum, where the Viking's history is exhibited. Photo taking is prohibited, but we sneakily took a few photos, some not quite clear, without flash of course. Below is a picture of a Viking warrior, ready to smash his enemy's head with his hammer.
Our next stop is the highly rated Vasa Museum, the world's only 17th century warship tht is so well preserved. How did they manage to preserve such an old vessel? Well, it might be a tragic to the Swedish during tht time, but it sure sounds a bit funny today... The Vasa was supposed to be one of the mightiest warship built tht time, but it was badly proportioned, the body was too narrow, causing it to be unstable and thus when they set sail and fired a salute, the ship heeled over and sank, after sailing only for about 1 km. This ship was very new and it sank near the shore, which made it possible to salvage the ship in one piece after 300 years...
After spending 1 hour plus in this museum, we head to another museum, the other recommended attraction, the Skansen Open-air Museum. Unfortunately, we din't know that the cultural village section would be closed at 5, so we can only visit the Scandinavian animals.
Me feeding the little moose with a maple leafWe tried to use a leaf as bait to attract this red squirrel, if only we hv any nuts or fruits...
The playful bears, they seem to hv endless energy.
A snow owl, looks cool as always.
Shy lynx, it's not ez to spot one as they tend to hide themselves from ppl's view.
Wolfs are actually shy creatures, n they tend to keep away from human (of course when they r not desperately hungry), this is wat i've learnt from BBC's animal shows.
Last of all, we tried to get to the Kaknäs Tower, a TV & radio transmission tower, to get a good night view of Stockholm. We were so unlucky tht the tower was booked by some 'idiot' tht night, n we hv to go bck in disappointment, in rain.
On the final day, we manage to c the changing of the guards in front of the Royal Palace
After that, we went to the city center to hunt for some souvenirs, we hv planty of time to kill b4 our flight...

From my 4 days experience, i found Stockholm as a clean, friendly, safe & beautiful city.. U don c rubbish on the floor anywhere, ppl here speak perfect English n r willing to help, n i've seen ladies jogging at night alone around quiet places... We don c gangsters or drunken ppl lingering around. N of course the city is surrounded by water, making it uniquely beautiful in a way.

Sin May told me today tht our friend, Chean Voon might pass away in this 2 days....
He is not a very close friend of mine, but he's a nice guy , with a smile always on his face.

Not Anymore.
His smile has been taken away mercilessly...
He is facing his remaining days in pain n tears...

He once had a bright future ahead of him, a teenage turned man enjoying life as any other undergraduates.
Then something went berserk in his system, n he got leukemia.
A bone marrow transplant operation was conducted n succeeded,
but the demon juz wouldn't let him go...

Some thoughts ran in my mind, but i'd rather not express it here coz i hv no means to offend any friends with their respective religious believes.

Ntg can save a good man from dying isn't it?
Pray for miracles? Of course i hope miracle will happen on him. But if miracle happens to every dying person, then miracle is not a miracle anymore...

Human r juz simply fragile...

On the other hand, i hope Shainol's dad is ok, n he'll b bck to join the class soon....

*Chean Voon passed away in the morning on 1st of July, in Malaysia. If u r reading this, pls hv a moment of silence for him... Rest in peace...

I am officially 23!

My 1st birthday in a foreign land...

Luckily i'm not alone... Although birthday celebration is not so important to me anymore, it is still nice to hv ppl reminding me tht i'm older by 1 year on this day :)

First of all, thank you for planning a surprise celebration for me at 12 midnight :)
Thanks to my 2 wonderful hsemates, Raj & Giri, XY, Lingwei, Devi, Darsh, Ser Ying, Mekh, Piriya, Samm, Yee Xian, Ray, Shu Xian & Xin Ni.
A few pieces of cake n muffin, some beer n some frens, makes my day :)

OK, i endured a frustrating afternoon, struggling in FMT lecture, against sleepiness n understanding the lecturer's lecture, but some ppl again make my day special...

The girls treated me with a wonderful chinese home-cooked dinner and an ice-cream :)
Special thanks to Theng Theng, Michelle, Sin Ye, Zelia & Ka Yin. A very heart-warming n delicious meal indeed...

N a big thank you to u my dear :) although v can't celebrate it together, i'm still very happy with the 'virtual meal' u've prepared for me :) muakz...

I'm in Glasgow

It had been 1 week since i arrived in Glasgow...

It's a totally foreign city to me, but i don't really feel isolated here, as a whole group of us came together, n the ppl here r quite friendly... But of course there r some exemptions....

We hv no car here, so we will jz walk to the town everyday, well a 10 to 15 mins walk, so it's kinda good for health haha....

2 things tht annoy me most r, 1) although it's summer, the wind is freakingly cold, n the weather is pretty unpredictable, it can rain anytime. 2) The shops closes around 5 to 6... Tht's bad rite?? Malaysians used to going out at 8 or 9, it's difficult for us, as the timetable now is like everyday 9 to 5.....

I've spent nearly 200 pounds after 1 week here (THT'S A FREAKING RM 1200 WEI!) But half is for the text books (100 pounds), my new phone n top-up (58 pounds), n others r for the utensils, groceries and toiletries... I'm not wasting money here :) (yet haha....)

So far, everything is going quite ok.. Accommodation is ok, cooking is not a problem (yet), studies juz started (still ok), going around is fun, n the buildings, i like their style very much... Tht's y i take photos of buildings more than any other things, including myself. There is a lot more of things i need to learn bout photography, so pls gv me some advice if possible.

OK, this is how it looks like from my room's window

Few days ago, i accidently spotted this seagull standing infront of one of the opposite flat's window. It stood there for quite long, looking around, n it used its beak to knock on the window several times...
I thought it was 'communicating' with its reflection on the window or trying to get the flower inside... But then....

An old lady appeared n fed the seagull... The seagull was actually knocking n asking for food! My my seagull here is clever, isn't it? N no wonder all the birds here r so well built n fat...

I'll update anything when i feel like writing blog ag :)
everyone out there, take care!

My dear, u always complaint tht i didn't write anything bout u in my blog....

Well, this is because i only feel like writing when something special takes place.... Someday like today...

My Dear,

Ever since we were together we hv never been parted for more than 2 weeks. Now, it's a one whole year ahead, ready to test the strength and durability of the bond between us. We hv expected this day to come, but it still came so soon tht i felt hard to say goodbye. I honestly think tht this relationship will last, even having to endure some hardship n frustration of long distance relationship, for i hv faith in u n myself.

It's the best thing i've ever had in my life, to hv known u n to be wif u... The love tht hv rooted in my heart, i find it hard to describe wif words... So, i juz wan u to know, i really love u, n i will always do. Do wait for me....

Wif Love,
From Me.

I will miss my family, as well as my frens... All of u r no less important, thank you for the things u've done for me, thank you for the wishes n care....

Wish me luck in Scotland, n i hope tht all of u will b in good condition when i'm bck hehe...

Attachment Week

Today is the 4th day of clinical attachment....

Clerking cases in government hospital is not a pleasant thing,
(1) Standing with ur head down for a long time copying 'cakar ayam' like handwriting is not good for ur neck.
(2) The wards r not air-conditioned, damn hot n stuffy, wearing a tie and thick labcoat somemore.
(3) Of course, wards are filled with patients of all kinda diseases, air full of bacteria, alcohol smell (antiseptic, not drinking alcohol), n some funny smell..
(4) U always hv to compete with doctors and nurses for the case notes, time is precious.

OK, tht's not the main reason for me to blog today, i juz wanna share my 'shock of the day'

After clerking, we went to library to meet Mr. B for discussion. I was walking juz beside Mr. B towards the discussion room, when he suddenly asked me 'Can u follow me back today?'
I was SHOCKED... WHAT? Follow u bck? What do u wanna do to me? My first thought was 'Why u wan me to follow u bck home? I'm scared!'

My goodness, luckily i stay in Seremban. So i told him i'm not goin bck to Bukit Jalil. Then he asked my other colleagues if any1 could accompany him bck, he said he doesn't wanna drive bck alone, coz ez to fall asleep while driving alone. All of us look at each other, i sense unwillingness in every1's eyes haha, then turned out Yee Xian to be the 'victim'... Sze ling is driving, Cynthia claim to accompany Sze ling, Saffia n Zul r staying in Seremban, Poh yee n Siew yin were not present.... Poor Yee Xian, sorry Samm, there's ntg much i can help haha... Yee Xian has no choice but to accept Mr. B's 'free transport' invitation.

Actually Mr. B is kinda good lecturer, quite experienced n knowledgeble, n he is nice to students. TOO NICE sometimes tht it scares us, especially MALE students. Yup, tht's right, tht is where it seems abit wrong.

If it was Miss Chrissy who had asked me to follow her bck, i would hv gladly accepted the invitation, although i'm not staying in Bukit Jalil haha.... Raj will do the same thing, rite Raj? Juz hope tht she doesn't hv a suspicious hubby...

Yeah, tml will be the final day of a miserable week, n coming up next, IMU Ball......

It's a Mess

It's quite a mess in Msia now... If u follow the news on TV n papers, u'll noe wat im talkin bout....
U claim to hv majority support lar, i lock u outside the building lar, u held meeting under the tree lar, i go report u to the police lar, u put cctv to ensure that the trees u planted r safe lar bla bla bla....

When's the cowboy show ending? U shoot me i shoot u... Occasionally it will add some spice to boring political scene, but it's like everyday now... Do u'll even care wat the people r thinking?
To be fair, i think both parties r similarly mad. Purely MAD!

Ok, then the blue box thingy...
It's another 'quality decision' made by our respected Government (related department).
What's tht smell??? I smell FISH! Something FISHY!
Of course lar, the boxes r for fish storage mar.. of course fishy lar...
I wonder wat's the logic behind the decision to implement such order...
Although the decision was temporarily revoked, people who slightly use their brain will feel suspicious about the reason behind this order...
Suspicious isn't it?
Monopolised by 1 company only...
Price is double the normal price...
Quality is not superior to other similar boxes...
Made mandatory to all importers...

Something is wrong with this country...
Seriously, with the resources tht v have, blessings by mothernature, we should b much better than where we stand now.
R there no wise ppl to use these advantages wisely? I think there r. But perhaps some cannot resist the temptation by Devil, the lust for power, wealth and sex made them neglect the opportunity to use these advantages for people's good, instead they use these advantages to satisfy their own lust.

Actually, this happens everywhere all the time, it'sa sad but true reflection on human's nature. Sometimes, v r no better than animals, perhaps even worse.

I talk bout Msia, bcoz Msia is my home, it's frustrating to c how my home is ruined by all these unnecessary conflicts n scandals. There's no cure for the lust n evil behind all these 'dramas', but i sure hope they don make things more complicated n sickening, n let the show ends soon.

Nobody wants to watch a messy soap drama with lousy actors on n on n on n on n on n on n on n on for over 30 seasons -__-

Goodbye IMU!

It's a bit hard to believe that, i've actually spent about 2 years in IMU...
Life there is actually coming to an end, very soon, as there will be no more lectures going on, only Finals, some case presentations and bits of preparation for UK thing...

Well, the most unforgettable thing will surely be the orientation week...
Talk about dressing as a GIRL for 3 or 4 days in different costume, that certainly requires some courage....

Me & Giri as TARZAN & JANE (Well, obviously, I am Jane). Had a funny MTV show though :)

Not mentioning, dressing as such to meet my tutor, Prof. Peter (aka The Tiger of Pharmacy)

Can u c me? Yup, the 1 at right is me, a GT BABE.

It's quite tiring n sometimes frustrating going through the 5 days orien-'bullied'-tation, nevertheless it is fun.

However, that's all about the highlights during my 2 yrs in IMU.

Yup, there's alot of happening things around IMU, alot of partying and clubbing among my classmates, but none had much to do with me.

Not to say that i participate in ntg at all, it's juz tht im not too into everything. Some i juz don bother to join, too lazy to join, too shy to join hahaha....

That is not suppose to be a uni student's life rite? It should be more colourful isn't it? Well, it depends on how u interpret 'colourful' too... I hv a tiny bit of regret for not being more active during my uni life here, it may spice up my life more, eventhough i'm content with life right now.

Anyway, i'm happy to have met ppl who make my life in uni better :) Raj, Giri, Chel, Samm, Theng Theng and many more... Those who helped me through my life here, those who are simply nice ppl, thanks alot! (Special thanks to Zelia: There's once in the lab, i spilled my chemical all around the bench, n she was very nice to stay n help me clean the mess after the lab session ended, that's really nice of u, girl.)

The ever charming RAJ, with Ray at the side, tucking in his shirt.

GIRI n XY, interesting couple keke...

Me n Theng Theng, the blur girl from penang :p

This is called 左拥右抱which means 'hugging left n right'. U can c how happy i am (hahaha...) with Samm & Chel in my arms... Cheh, but all taken d, including me.

Although i am going to meet this same bunch of people in UK, but it will somehow b abit diff d.... There will probably b some change anyway, u will never know. So, experience at IMU is still something unique.

It's abit embarrassing to say, i've never been to the pasar malam at sri petaling n only once to the town after staying so near to sri petaling for 2 yrs. Well, Carrefour is the furthest place i go most frequently to restock.

View of Endah Parade (Carrefour) taken from my room.

And the food i ate most are the canteen food (previous caterer), n mixed rice, fried rice, burger nasi lemak from the stalls at the roadside, juz outside the uni.

The fried rice stall. Well food are not that nice, not really hygienic as well.
.
Nasi lemak n burger stall. Have wide variety of food but most sucks.
.
Ah, i did not manage to take a photo of the Indian mixed rice stall. The auntie was nice, sometimes will give me extra things, but honestly, the food isn't that nice and i think they should change their menu sometimes. YES! THESE ARE THE THINGS I EAT EVERYDAY FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS! Ohhh... feel like vomiting sometimes, need an anti-emetic...

Say goodbye to IMU.... (although i'll b bck in 3 weeks time)
Say goodbye to my untidy but comfortable room

Before packing

After packing (wah so tidy d!)

Another before-after comparision

N say goodbye to all the memories left at that place.... N the precious time spent there wif my girl...
